Test Results

When you attend for a test of any kind you will be told how long you should expect to wait for the results.

Results of tests carried out at the surgery can be given via our receptionists either directly at reception or you an call for these results.  We ask that all test result requests be after 14:00 to ensure our phone lines are not overwhelmed during the busy morning period.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.

Results of tests requested by the wider healthcare team often go direct to that team and therefore it is best in the first instances to contact them for the results.
